This is a personal site. I don't sell data, I don't run advertising, and I don't share anything you send me with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

Analytics

I use PostHog to understand which pages people read and whether the site is working. It records page views, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, performance timings, and JavaScript errors. Requests are proxied through this domain at /r so they aren't blocked by extensions, but the data is processed by PostHog on EU infrastructure. Analytics profiles are only created for identified users, which on this site means people who submit the contact form. If you browse with Do Not Track or an ad blocker enabled, most of this never fires.

Contact form

The contact form collects your name, email address, a subject, and your message. That message is delivered to my inbox by Resend so I can reply. I keep the email as long as the conversation is useful. Submissions are screened by Arcjet for rate limiting, bot detection, and invalid or disposable email addresses — that check inspects the request but doesn't store your message.

Newsletter

If you tick the subscribe box when contacting me, your email address is added to a list managed by Buttondown. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and I'll do it. Reach me through the contact page. Deleting analytics data is best-effort, since it's aggregated and not tied to a name unless you've contacted me.
